Communicating the impact that scouting and explorer posts have on our communityβs youth in a visually engaging manner

For the Seneca Waterways Councilβs 2011 annual report, I once again partnered with photographer John Myers to concept and execute this campaign called Something Bigger.
For this report, we wanted to show how scouting and their Explorer Program, a career-focused initiative, helps shape and prepare community youth for all the big things in life; whether thatβs developing their character or giving them valuable career experience.
So we created portraiture that also showed scouting and exploring in action with the help of the compositing wizards at Hac Job. Each portrait features the same subject doing what they experienced in scouting or exploringβfrom camping and stargazing to kayaking and firefighting training.
