Bribe Spot for Dunkin Donuts

  • The most famous hair in baseball

  • Johnny Damon keeping a secret thanks to Dunkin Donuts’ flavored iced latte drinks

  • Keeping Red Sox GM Theo Epstein quiet (and thirst-quenched)

  • I created this Dunkin Donuts commercial back in 2005 (just after the Red Sox’s 2004 World Series I might add) while at Hill Holliday, Boston. It was a dream come true to work with the Red Sox’s GM Theo Epstein and fan favorite Johnny Damon while at spring training to promote Dunkin’s Iced Latte drinks.

To understand this, you gotta remember Johnny Damon's hair before he switched to the evil empire in Brooklyn.

Hank Perlman of Hungryman directed the spot.

Red Sox Center Fielder Johnny “Caveman” Damon’s famous locks held a secret. All Johnny had to do was to keep GM Theo Epstein quiet with the help of Dunkin Donuts flavored iced lattes.
