A trip to Tamarindo, Costa Rica in 2019 was both a chance to catch some waves and meet some locals—then bring those impressions to life in illustration. I created these two illustrations with a healthy dose of inspiration from artist Evan Hecox. (Yeah, I gotta get back to drawing more… these were fun to observe and draw.)
